Track & Field Centennial Celebration

A special presentation featuring the top three girls and boys team state champions from track & field history was held during the state meet.
Unveiling of the UIL Historical Marker:

This historical marker commemorates the first century of the UIL's existence. From its humble beginnings hosting the state debate and track meets, to its numerous activities available to students today, the UIL has always stayed true to its purpose of providing educational activities through competition. The UIL Historical Marker is available for everyone to visit in front of the UIL headquarters in Austin.
